REMINDERS

 Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and Letters
Friday, June 12th Noon

On Friday, June 12th, Home and School will show our appreciation for the wonderful faculty and staff that enrich the lives of our children over the course of the school year.

Your help is needed in two ways:

1.   Appreciation Letters and Acknowledgements
We will be collecting letters of appreciation to give to the faculty and staff on the day of the luncheon. Please spend some time with your child writing a letter or drawing a picture to express your gratitude for the wonderful work of the faculty and staff. Please deposit letters/drawings in the box marked “LETTERS” in the Lower School Lobby no later than June 10th.

2.   Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to provide food, set-up, serve, and clean-up at the luncheon. Use the link below to volunteer or look for a prior email about this event with a link.
*Please note that students are not invited to the luncheon as this is intended to be a relaxing meal for the teachers. However, children may help with the set-up and/or clean-up.

Please be sure to complete the short survey that was sent via email, posted on the blog or use the following link to access it-Survey Link

IMPORTANT LAST DAYS OF SCHOOL INFORMATION!!!!

Hello Owl Families,

It is hard to believe it is the last week of school! The year has "flew" by!

Friends have been asking to have a beach day and TOMORROW seems like an "Owl-fully" perfect day since Tuesday it is supposed to rain. We are asking that you send your Owl in wearing their bathing suits, with sunscreen (already on) and shoes that they can run around in as well as get REALLY WET!!! Please also send in a clearly labeled towel and a change of dry clothes. Friends will be getting super wet in the sprinklers and wading pools with their Catbird and Cardinal friends.

Tuesday is our last full day, so we will be enjoying our day in our classroom "hooting" it up with lots of dancing and laughs!

Wednesday, we have a half of day, noon pick up, which we plan to spend hugging and laughing with your Owls!

Thank you so much for giving us the privilege of spending this year with your "HOOT-TACULAR" children! It was a "OWL-tastic" year!

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to "hoot" at us!

A "Mud-tastic" Day!

"Rain rain came one day
And left puddles for us to play
We had fun and screamed HOORAY!
Muddy, muddy, muddy day!"

Today was a very fun but messy day for the Owls. During the last few days, the Owls have been wishing for rain in hopes that we could go out on a muddy adventure. Friends were excited to hear that all of their wished had come true and today was THE DAY that we were able to get nice and muddy! The Owls zipped up their rain jackets and put on their rain boots and headed out to find some squishy, gooey, sticky mud puddles, and they did just that! Friends had an absolute blast jumping and splashing in the mud and could be heard screaming and giggling with pure excitement! During lunch, friends were talking about how much fun they had and that they hope it rains again!
