Today in Music, Aedin walked around the circle playing the recorder, while friends kept the beat on their bodies.
Next, each Owl was given a hand drum to play while singing and moving to the Snowflake song.
We learned a new song today, with movements, where friends danced with partners around the circle.
After Music, the Owls came back to classroom and gathered for Morning Meeting.
To go along with our Zoo Study, we set up the iPad during Choice with a live feed from the San Diego Zoo. Friends watched the elephant cam, and later learned the elephants' names and facts. This was very exciting!
Friends were also very excited for Library! It has been awhile since our last visit. Doris read us Horton Hatches the Egg.
After reading with Doris, friends went off to explore and find books of their own to borrow.
