The Owls have chosen their first topic of study: MUSIC!
To help introduce the Music Study, Raji's kindergarten, who has been studying Music, came into the Owls' room to discuss and play different musical instruments. From listening to the instruments, we learned about sound waves.
Before kindergarten left, we sang a couple of songs. One of the songs was Three Little Birds.
During Morning Meeting, friends played a game where they touched their nose when they stopped hearing the sound waves from the bell.
For choice, friends chose between sandbox...
coloring...
animals...cars...magnatiles...
...and books.
To finish up our morning, friends went outside for a quick runaround. As it begins to get colder outside, please make sure your Owl has a hat, scarf, gloves, and coat. Also, please check their bins to make sure they have spare winter clothes.
