Owl Days

After music rehearsal this morning, the Owls came back to the classroom for Morning Meeting and Research Report presentations.

Fact: Cymbals are made of gold.

Fact: Piccolo is the Italian word for little.

After sharing reports, friends went into choice where they chose between books, dollhouse, magnatiles, drawing and coloring, instruments, and roll the dye.

Keeping the beat on the bongos.

Andrea visited our classroom today, and read some books with friends.

Say "CHEESE" for the camera.

Shaking the maracas.

Some friends played a math game called Role the Dye. First, you role the dye, then depending on what number it lands on, use the curves and lines to make the number.

The snow made outdoor play extra special today.

Some friends made "marshmallows" that they put on Christina's hood. Other friends made miniature snowballs.

During read aloud, Danielle read The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig.
