Play Dough and Picture Day

Today started off with our first Owl reading the Daily Schedule. Each day a different Owl will have the chance to read the schedule to friends.

As well as go over the calendar. Naming the month, date, and year.

Our Owl also went over the question of the day, and counted the votes in each column.

In order to choose which color play dough the Owls should make, we decided to make a chart to cast our votes.

Owls wrote their names on the color of their choice.

Once friends finished writing their names, they stuck their colored pieces of paper on the chart in that colors column

Once the voting was complete, the Owls tallied up the votes to see which color had the most votes.

There was a tie between green and yellow, so we had to bring in a tie-breaker!

During choice, friends had the option to play with links...

beading...

magnatiles...

and bead sequencing.

Owls worked together to build castles, and all types of structures.

It's picture day! Cheese!

After sitting for awhile, we needed break out in our silly faces!

Ask your Owl to show you their best smiling face!
