The Owls entered Music Class today by keeping the beat with their feet.
Ladybug helped us warm up our voices.
Once we warmed up our voices, we sang a song about acorns.
Over on the music mat, Aedin read us a story about squirrels and acorns.
While one friend sat in the middle of the circle, with their eyes closed, Aedin passed out acorns to friends to hide around the room.
The Owl sitting in the middle searched the room for the hidden acorns. Once the search was over, that friend used the mallet to hit the bell to tell us how many acorns were found.
Back in the classroom, the Owls went over liquids and solids. Each Owl gave an example of a liquid or solid.
During Choice, friends chose between magnatiles...
...dollhouse...
...dramatic play...
...and animals.
Since the rain prevented us from going outside, we decided to have a dance party!
Friends sat in a circle, until it was their turn to show off their spectacular and fabulous dance moves.
Ask your Owl what has happened so far in Mr. Popper's Penguins.
