Flowers

The Owl's morning began at the Meeting House for Meeting for Worship. After MFW, we headed back to our room for Morning Meeting. During Morning Meeting, friends played a directional game using bears and blocks. Friends made the bears jump "on top of" the block, hide "behind," dance "in front of," lay "next to" and the worst, friends squished their bears "under" the block. After Morning Meeting, friends had choice time. 

Friends were able to choose between self-portraits,

puzzles and books,

digging in the sandbox, 

magnatiles,

and flower-making. 

Today the Owls received a beautiful Owl shaped vase. Friends thought we should fill the vase with flowers. So during choice time, friends made flowers out of pipe cleaners, felt, popsicle sticks and buttons. After our vase was filled with beautiful flowers, we headed outside to enjoy some fresh air.
